Craft room

Here is my newly organized craft room.  It has four doors in it with one leading to the laundry room, another leads to a bathroom, one leads to the family room, and the fourth door leads into my new jewelry studio.  Before I had my jewelry studio, this is the room that I had ALL of my crafts and jewelry stuff in and it was a huge disorganized nightmare!

Ready for the tour?  Here we go.....

We are standing in the doorway that connects to the living room.  On the left is the door to the laundry room and in front of you is a bathroom.

To the right of the bathroom door I have this neat little vintage find.  It is a dresser that hold all of my scrapbooking supplies.  Papers, stickers, embellishments, etc.

Here is a close up of the dresser.

If you open up the two doors on the dresser you find these three drawers which are filled with papers and other goodies.

Continuing around the room going clockwise you see my wall of "stuff".  The lower portion, shown in this photo, holds all sorts of crafty items.  Glues, paints, cardstock, markers, etc.  The vintage cupboard was my Grandmothers and I use it to store my sewing machine, needles and thread, quilting things, and some fabrics.  The baskets are great for storing some yarn for knitting.

This photo shows the built in shelving.  I put curtains on it to hide the stuff on the shelves when not in use.

Open the curtains and you can see all sorts of fun stuff to create with!

This section holds all of my stamping things.  The two black cases that you see in the lower left hand are cd holders and they hold all of my clear stamps.

Here is the second section of the shelving unit.  The top shelf shows my spice racks that I use to store things like buttons, eyelets, and brads.  You also can see a Pampered Chef kitchen organizer that I use to hold crafting tools.

Here is the third section of shelving.  I have all of my paper cutters on this shelf along with a few tools that I store in vintage sand pails.

This photo shows the door that leads into my jewelry studio.

This is just a wall! haha  When I feel like stamping, scrapbookin, or sewing, I will place a long table in this spot.  The door that leads to the living room is to the right.

I have a total of eight of these funky quirky birds decorating the walls of my craft room.  They are done in watercolor by my Mother-in-law.  They make me smile every time I look at them.

I hope you have enjoyed the tour of my craft room!  Hopefully I have given you some storage and organization tips.

Feel free to leave a comment, share a link to this blog post, or both!  :)

If you haven't done so already, please check out my post from yesterday.  It is a tour of my jewelry studio.
